“Foretelling”

It was foretold that this would be foretold

For, the telling of something before it’s in stone

is much like creating a future unknown

and as long as that future is neutral in tone

then the subject can subjectively prepare his new home

on the prophesized road

and make room in his mind

for all the places he’ll go

and though

this vision was given to him

still he creates it alone

because no tarot

no prediction overgrown

could sprout unwanted outcomes

from seeds that have yet to be sown

“Mysterious Melodies”

Bodies bobbing in unison

to the pulsing beats of ancient masters

channeled primitively through modern technology

set it ablaze and the sound remains

echoing proudly off of mountains and lakes

carried by the wind across streams and plains

Breathing, we assist in the process

possessed by the source, we access

mysterious melodies hinting at what comes next

Dancing puppets are we

joyfully stringed

cutting loose, now free

though nothing has changed

but the meanings we need

to encourage these dreams

So as we come to the end

I’ll find you, my friends

and we’ll trade ideas on how else it could be.
